weird_one asks: "Can you only order your albums online? I tried to get one at best buy, but there was no luck"
In a recent turn of events, there's promise that my CD WILL be available at a local store near you, but I need help from all of my fans to make that happen. What you need to do is call your local radio station and REQUEST REQUEST REQUEST! Get your friends to request too! If your station says they don't know who I am, ask to speak to the musical director and tell him who I am and give him the website address! Even if you already have the CD, you'd be helping me out by calling. Fill out an Ask Bob form and let me know that you've called and requested me on a station and you'll be entered in a drawing to recieve a free autographed CD! After you call the station, just fill out This Form!
Q. "If I order a CD will it be shipped to [Insert Country Here]? "
Q. "Will you do a parody of [Insert Song Here]?"
If I do, probably not because of your suggestion. As an artist I like to write for myself and not do a parody as a favor to somebody else. Any song I pick to parody will be for my own reasons and since I pretty much like all types of music, whatever song you had in mind probably has a chance.
Q. "If I sent you a song suggestion or parody I wrote will you record it?"
A lot of you send in questions like this. Although I appriciate all of you who like to write parodies as well, I won't take suggestions or record somebody elses writings. If you have a song parody that you think just needs to be recorded, try recording it yourself. That's how I got started. My biggest reason for not taking suggestions or submissions is because I simply enjoy writing my own material. I wouldn't want somebody else recording one of my songs, and by that same token, I wouldn't want to record somebody elses work.
Q. "Can I have the lyrics to [Insert Song Here]"
I'm well aware that the lyrics to my songs are not available on this website. I don't plan on making them available because I've got a really great bunch of fans out there who run their own websites, one of which whom has taken this arduous task upon himself. Visit The Parody Times for an "on it's way to being complete" list of my song lyrics.
Q. "Will you be performing in [Insert Place Here] anytime soon?"
If it's not in RI or close to it, at this point probably not. Since I don't have a record label to pay for my touring expenses, chances are, most shows will be local. There are exceptions when the price is right, but they are rare.
This is a new section to the website. Off the top of my head, these are the questions I get asked the most. I will be adding more material here as people ask more questions that have already been asked. My goal is to keep the new questions that are asked in the Ask Bob secion unique.
